Anonymous: To hide Welcome Note, here`s what you need to do:
In the EDIT HTML page, using CTRL+F, find "#welcome{".
The browser will highlight the following code:

#welcome{
float:left;
clear:none;
width:200px;
margin-left:20px;
}

Replace the above code with the one below:

#welcome{
float:left;
clear:none;
width:200px;
margin-left:20px;
display: none;
}

Just in case if you want to edit the Welcome Note, here`s what you need to do:
In Edit HTML page, find "This is a free and fully standards compliant Blogger template",
The browser will highlight the text which you can edit for your blog.

To change the picture of girl in the header,
Goto: EDIT HTML, find "main-img.jpg"

The browser will highlight the following code:

img alt='' src='http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_k_DnmK4oz2Q/S2vuttj_NuI/AAAAAAAAAsg/zDDFRHfsqPA/s1600/main-img.jpg'

Replace the image url link from above code. "http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_k_DnmK4oz2Q/S2vuttj_NuI/AAAAAAAAAsg/zDDFRHfsqPA/s1600/main-img.jpg" with your image link.

Click PREVIEW before saving. Save when done :)

Hi,
This is very beautiful template when I open it with Firefox. But there's a problem when I open it with internet explorer. main-img was not in correct position. Would you please to check it at http://bundapunyabisnis.blogspot.com

this template is very, very cool.
i've done a lot of fiddling around with it (because i'm a newbie, it's taken a while).
but now i seem to have an image stuck where your old image was and i can't seem to delete it!!

I love the template but when logged in there is no way for me to get either post new or go to my dashboard. The option is normally at the top of the screen and does not exist in this template.. Help??

Wall: I actually don't have the PSD of that image. The template was designed by www.mytemplatebox.com. They requested me to convert it to blogger. You may ask them. I hope they have what you require :)

Is there any instruction how to use the menu bar on the right side. Do I have to make references to existing pages a=or make pages inside blogger? Sorry us newbs have ot learn sometime.

You can easily make changes to link lists/menu bars in blogger templates by following this text file which contains instructions on how to set up and edit link lists :)

Wookies Girl: Oh you mean the Blogger navigation bar that appears on the top of your blog?? To make it appear again, read the short context titled "How to display the navbar again in my template?" on the FAQs page.

This template is beautiful. I would like to change two of the colors but they aren't in the fonts/colors and I can't find them in the html. Yellow header on the post and the purple header on the widgets/gadgets or sidebar. Can you help me with this?

Hi you've put that you can easily edit the left hand side menu by looking at the text file but you haven't included the link.... I'm actually wanting to delete the whole part that says.... home, about me, Gallery....etc
Please could you advise how I would do this?

Cheery: I see, I saw your blog. You've removed the link list but the background is still there.
There's 2 things you'll need to do make that Link list background disappear.

1. Goto: EDIT HTML page
2. Using CTRL+F, find "#menu{"
3. The browser will highlight the following code:

#menu{
float:left;
clear:none;
background:url(http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_k_DnmK4oz2Q/S2vutj3Z-rI/AAAAAAAAAsk/hENaZK4Tk3E/s1600/menu.png) top left no-repeat;
width:190px;
height:325px;
margin-left:-15px;
padding-top:30px;
padding-left:10px;
}

4. Replace the above code with the one BELOW:

#menu{
float:left;
clear:none;
background:url(http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_k_DnmK4oz2Q/S2vutj3Z-rI/AAAAAAAAAsk/hENaZK4Tk3E/s1600/menu.png) top left no-repeat;

overflow: hidden; /* fix for long non-text content breaking IE sidebar float */
}

7. Replace the above code with the one BELOW:

#sidebar-wrapper {
margin-top: -120px;
margin-right: 20px;
width: 300px;
float: right;
word-wrap: break-word; /* fix for long text breaking sidebar float in IE */
overflow: hidden; /* fix for long non-text content breaking IE sidebar float */
}

8. Click PREVIEW to see the desired result. Save when done :)

I don't think this question has been answered yet. When run in IE 8 (I don't know about the other IE's), if you look at the very bottom, part of the book shows again. Is there a way to fix this?

Also, I added info under my picture. Is there any way to make the boxes wider?

Lastly, is there any way to use the original picture's 'frame', where it looks like the picture is 'taped' into the book?

no matter how many times I try to change the image it does not work, is there another way to do it? It says it is not well formed? But i'm highlighting 'http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_k_DnmK4oz2Q/S2vuttj_NuI/AAAAAAAAAsg/zDDFRHfsqPA/s1600/main-img.jpg' and replacing it with my image. Is this wrong?

Anonymous: Probably the image you are trying to put may have problems or your not putting the image correctly. Let me know your Blog URL so that I better understand the issue and also let me know about the image URL you're trying to put.

1. Goto EDIT HTML page

2. Using CTRL+F, find "#main-wrapper {"

3. The browser will highlight the following codes:

#main-wrapper {
width: 370px;
float: left;
word-wrap: break-word; /* fix for long text breaking sidebar float in IE */
overflow: hidden; /* fix for long non-text content breaking IE sidebar float */
}
#sidebar-wrapper {
margin-top: -130px;
margin-right: 20px;
width: 300px;
float: right;
word-wrap: break-word; /* fix for long text breaking sidebar float in IE */
overflow: hidden; /* fix for long non-text content breaking IE sidebar float */
}

4. Now see in the above codes. These are actually two set of codes. One is (#main-wrapper) for text column and second (#sidebar-wrapper) is for sidebar. Both of the hold properties like width.

5. Now see in the above code for #main-wrapper "width: 370px" it shows that text-column(main-wrapper) is 370 pixels wide. You may widen it by increasing the number (370) in the above code.

6. Be sure while widening the main-wrapper that may not be wide enough the so that it overlaps the sidebar. if you widen the main-wrapper, you may also narrow the sidebars too.

7. Now I hope you can make adjustment according to your requirements.

8. When you change the size, click PREVIEW to see the desired results and SAVE TEMPLATE when done.

That's it! :)
